I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to
anyone. The ability to study when and how I
wanted made a big difference. In a classroom setting, the
pace of the class is often set by the person who learns the
slowest (and someone who isn't catching on may be inclined
to keep silent for fear of holding up the class). At
home, I was able to go as fast (or as slow in some cases)
as I wanted. I'll admit this: the original concern I had was
(before taking the Allied course): if I had a question on
something (that I didn't understand clearly), how would I
have that question answered without a teacher present? During
the course, I used the toll-free 'Student Services' line a
few times - never did I have to wait, they were always
very courteous, very well-informed and I always had my question
answered.. I also used the email contact for 'non-urgent'
questions which were usually responded to the same day. I
have only good things to say about the course and your staff.
